Privacy Policy
Draft prepared July 2026
What this service does
Mutual.guru lets you create a professional profile, share it with people you meet, and keep private notes about your relationships. This policy will describe what information the service collects and how it is used.
Information you provide
Your profile (name, headline, bio, tags and links), the visibility choices you make for contact details, and the relationship notes you keep. Mutual.guru stores your account, profile and relationship information in its server-side database so the service can work across sessions and devices. Profile photos you upload are stored in a dedicated store used for public avatars.
What is public and what is private
Information you mark Public may appear on your published Mutual card, according to your publication and field-visibility settings. Contact details you mark as hidden are not shown on your card.
Your private connections, relationship notes and follow-up details are available only through your authenticated account, except when you explicitly choose a feature that shares selected information. When a visitor deliberately shares their details with you, that exchange is stored as a private connection in your account.
Guru answers
Mutual Guru currently operates in demonstration mode and does not analyse production relationship data. We do not send your private relationship information to an AI service unless you deliberately enable and use a feature that clearly explains what information will be analysed.
Data retention and deletion
Retention periods, export options and deletion processes will be defined before public launch and documented here.
